Bangladesh’s chief advisor mohammad yunus, and myanmar’s military leader Min Aung Hlaing. the BIMSTEC (Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-sectoral technical and economic cooperation) summit will focus on strengthening economies among the members nations. On Friday Morning, PM Modi will attend the BIMSTEC Summit, where the member nations are expected to adopt the bangkok vision 2030. thailand’s permanent secretary for foreign affairs, eksiri pintaruchi stated that the theme of thailand’s BIMSTEC Chairmanship is Active, Resilient and Open BIMSTEC. The bangkok vision 2030, documents aims to set clear goals and priorities for BIMSTEC Cooperation. it also focuses on how to promoting peace and stability and economic growth in the region while enhancing collaboration to address climate change challenges.

In Thailand, PM modi will be meeting thailand’s king Maha Vajiralongkorn also known as Rama on X and Queen suthida. Later, he and thai prime minister Paetongtarn shivawatra will visit wat pho, one of the top six temples in thailand. The temple is famous for its massive reclining buddha statue and numerous other buddha images surrounding the temple. wat pho is also known as thialand’s first public education cente, offering courses in science, literature and the religion.
