Ghaziabad: A spine-chilling incident has come to light in Ghaziabad, UP (part of the Delhi-NCR region), that is sure to leave you shaken. A young man was murdered late Wednesday night in the New Shanti Nagar area under the Crossing Republik police station limits, sparking a sensation in the locality. The deceased has been identified as 23-year-old Mohit.
Family members allege that he was first invited to a birthday party, where he was repeatedly struck with a sharp-edged weapon and killed. Tensions prevail in the area; enraged by the murder, locals created a commotion and blocked the road, demanding the immediate arrest of the accused. The incident reportedly took place late at night. The police have launched raids to apprehend the perpetrators.
Bloodstains from inside to outside
The entire incident occurred late Wednesday night. The assailants first summoned Mohit and then repeatedly attacked him with a sharp-edged weapon. Bloodstains were found stretching from inside the house to the outside. The deceased’s family stated that after committing the murder, the accused left the body outside the house and fled. Upon receiving the information, the local police arrived at the scene.
Senior police officials and a forensic team also reached the location. The police secured the scene, collected evidence, and initiated an investigation. Meanwhile, forensic experts have collected samples from the crime scene, which are currently being analysed.
Allegations by Mohit’s family
Mohit’s family has levelled serious allegations, claiming that the murder was not a spontaneous act but the result of a premeditated conspiracy. They alleged that Mohit had a dispute with some youths a few months ago; although a compromise was reached between the two parties, the accuseharboureded a grudge against him.
Despite this, the accused remained in constant contact with him. According to the family, the accused had even taken Mohit along on trips to Haridwar and the Khatu Shyam temple. Family members claimed that a plot to kill Mohit had been hatched previously as well, though the attempt had failed at that time.

The family has demanded the strictest possible action against the perpetrators.

After registering a case regarding the youth’s murder, the police conducted a series of rapid raids. So far, three suspects have been taken into custody and questioned. Officials state that every aspect of the incident is being investigated thoroughly. The sequence of events is being pieced together based on CCTV footage, forensic evidence, and interrogation.
