Etah Accident: Despite numerous traffic regulations, road accidents show no signs of abating. A shocking accident has been reported from Etah, Uttar Pradesh. On Thursday, five people lost their lives, and 11 passengers were injured in a road accident. Near Kalir Mai in the Bagwala police station area of Etah, passengers were waiting near a government roadways bus that was parked by the roadside when a speeding truck rammed into them from behind.
The impact left people bloodied on the road; five individuals died on the spot. UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed grief over this heart wrenching incident. He directed officials to ensure proper medical treatment for the injured and assured the families of the deceased of all possible assistance.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed sorrow over the Etah road accident. He offered condolences to the bereaved families and instructed officials to ensure the injured receive proper medical care. CM Yogi spoke with the families of the deceased, promising all possible aid, and wished for the speedy recovery of the injured.
Roadways Bus Was En Route to Delhi
Preliminary investigations revealed that the government roadways bus had departed from Nawabganj in Farrukhabad for New Delhi. The bus developed a mechanical fault en route, and repair work was underway.
During the repairs, most passengers had stepped off the bus and were standing by the roadside. Suddenly, a speeding truck approached from behind and ran over the passengers standing there. Five people died on the spot. Bystanders immediately informed the police, who summoned ambulances and admitted the injured to the hospital.

Officials Meet the Injured
Ramesh, Shailesh, Sukhram, Satyendra, and Prabhakar died at the scene of the horrific accident. The 11 injured passengers were immediately admitted to Etah Medical College, where they are currently undergoing treatment. Senior police and administrative officials, including Etah District Magistrate Arvind Singh and SSP Dr Ila Maran, visited the medical college to inquire about the condition of the injured. The officials instructed the doctors to ensure excellent medical care.
What the injured passenger said
Anand Singh, a passenger injured in the road accident, stated that he had set out from Nawabganj for Delhi. However, as luck would have it, the bus broke down en route. Consequently, around 30 to 40 passengers had disembarked and were standing by the roadside, waiting for the bus to be repaired. A truck approaching from behind suddenly rammed into them, resulting in a major accident. Meanwhile, the police arrived at the scene, impounded the truck, and initiated an investigation.
