All the traders of Delhi have written a letter to Home Minister Amit Shah. Let us now explain in detail the demands and what they have written in this letter. Diwali is approaching, and this is causing concern among Delhi’s traders. You might be wondering what this concern is. So, let me tell you, there are constant protests and demonstrations in the capital, Delhi. This not only impacts daily business, but traders say that the number of customers in the markets during the festival will decrease, and therefore, this should be stopped until Diwali. In such a situation, along with protests, traffic jams, and traffic problems, business is also completely affected. Therefore, Delhi’s traders are now worried about this. In light of this, the traders have written a letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, urging him to stop protests in Delhi until Diwali, clearly expressing their concern.

Business organizations believe that Diwali is one of the biggest festivals in the country, celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy, and shopping is a key factor in the vibrant markets. However, due to the protests in Delhi, people are fearful, and large numbers of people are not coming to Delhi’s major markets to shop. Shops selling clothing, electronics, decorative items, sweets, utensils, and gifts are usually crowded with customers, so traders are now worried about this.

Concerns about business being affected during the festival

Delhi markets are bustling with activity during Diwali, with many shoppers, from small to large, earning substantial profits during this festival. For many businessmen, this festive season is a crucial part of their annual income, and therefore, traders are striving to maintain a shopping atmosphere in the markets and ensure that footfall does not decrease.

Traders say that due to the protests, traffic has been blocked on several major roads and there is also fear in some places. Consequently, fewer people are coming to the market, making it difficult for people to reach the market. This is leading to a decrease in customer traffic and a decline in sales.

Appeal to the Home Minister

Traders have written a letter to the Union Home Minister, urging him to ensure that everything remains peaceful in the capital during the festive season and that there are no protests until Diwali. Delhi traders want special attention to be paid to security, traffic management, and cleanliness in the markets during the festival season. Additionally, security should be enhanced and parking facilities should be provided to shoppers so they do not face any problems. They also expressed their views on protests, saying that protests are an important part of expressing one’s views in a democratic system, but keeping in mind the time limit and other business activities, protests should be peaceful so that they do not interfere.
