The Application process for this scheme is expected to come out on the 1st of August. The very first installment for this scheme will be credited to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries on the 28th og August. Aim of the Delhi Laxmi Scheme
According to the information, the Delhi Laxmi Scheme, which is formerly known as the Mahila Samriddhi Yojana, aims to provide financial stability to needy women. This scheme is also going to improve the economic condition of women from the age of 21 to 60 years. This scheme aims to provide direct financial assistance to needy women in Delhi.
How much money will be given under Delhi Laxmi Yojana?
Delhi Government is going to help the financially poor women under this scheme. The government will be providing help of 2,500 Rupees per month. Out of this, 1,000 rupees will be credited directly to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. On the other hand, the remaining amount of 1,500 rupees will be deposited into a recurring deposit (RD) account. After a period of 3 years, the beneficiaries of this scheme will receive the total RD amount.
Under the Delhi Laxmi Scheme, the benefits are going to be divided into two parts. Where the women who are getting the benefits of this scheme are going to have 1,000 rupees in the CBDC Digital Rupees Wallet. On the other hand, the remaining 1,500 rupees will be deposited into the FD or RD Accounts for three years.
