According to recent reports, Chief Minister of Punjab Bhagwant Maan had mentioned earlier at the event on the anniversary of Udham Singh that approx 40 lakh women in Punjab will receive the amount of Rs.4,500 today. He also mentioned that the dreams of the indian freedom fighter will be fulfilled as the Government of India is working on it. In his speech, Bhagwant Maan said that the sacrifices of the freedom fighters will not go in vain. The government is working to improve the education system, hospitals, and healthcare. He also mentioned creating more and more job opportunities so that youth power can be utilised. He said that improving education and providing a good healthcare environment can literally reduce corruption in the country. CM Bhagwant Maan said that his government has kept all the promises he made to the people of Punjab, and he will be fulfilling all the hopes and desires of the people too.

Maavan Dhiyan Satkar Yojana
As per the information CM Bhagwant Maan mentioned about this Scheme. The Punjab Government has already transferred the amount of 3,000 to 4,500 rupees into the bank accounts of 31 lakh women. Also, as per the reports, from 1st of august approx 41 lakh women will receive the amount of 4,500 in their bank accounts from this beneficial scheme started by the Punjab government. Financial assistance and security will be provided to the women of Punjab through the Maavan Dhiyan Satkar Yojana. Under this scheme, the women who belong to the General category get the amount of 1,000, and the women belonging to the reservation categories receive the amount of 1,500. The initiative made by the Punjab government aims to provide financial stability and security to Punjab women so that they can easily manage their daily household requirements and expenses.
Who is eligible for this Maavan Dhiyan Satkar Yojana?
According to the information, women who are permanent residents of Punjab and are 18 or older are eligible to apply for this scheme started by the Punjab government. To get the benefits out of this scheme, the Aadhaar card of the women must be linked to their bank accounts. Under this scheme, women who belong to the scheduled caste will receive the amount of 1,500 rupees for their daily household chores. Whereas women of the general category will get help of 1,000 rupees per month. Today, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is expected to transfer three months’ worth of financial assistance into the bank accounts of the women who are the beneficiaries of this scheme.
