According to the recent reports, Shiv sena Leader Uddhav Thackeray made a very strong statment about the hindi language. In which he said, his party will not allow hindi to be made compulsory in maharashtra. this comes after the state government decided to make hindi a mandatory third language for the students from classes 1 to 5. uddhav thackeray believes that no language should be forced on people and his party will oppose any such move that tries to impose hindi on school children in the state. Uddhav thackeray was speaking on the event organized by the workers wing of shiv sena. he said that his party has no problem with hindi language, but questioned why it is being forced on people. his comments came amid political controversy over the maharashtra government’s decision to make Hindi a compulsory language for the students from classes 1 to 5 in marathi and english medium schools.
Language Should not Be imposed on people, Says Uddhav Thackeray
Uddhav thackeray also pointed out that hsi move goes against the existing practice of studying two languages in the schools. he stressed that language should not be imposed on the people should have the freedom to choose. his party is ready to oppose this decision if it leads to cultural or linguistic pressure. the decision has sparked a debate with the opposition parties criticizing the government for trying to change the traditional education structure and for ignoring regional language preferences in the state. Uddhav thackeray has said at an event in nashik that he has given up on the ideology of the hindutav, but he does not accept the rotten version of hindutva followed by his former ally the bjp he also suggested that the bjp led maharashtra government should turn the raj bhavan complex in mumbai into a memorial chhatrapati shivaji maharaj and shift the governor’s residence elsewhere.
He also stated, that without the undivided shiv sena, the bjp would not have been able to reach the position where its could build the ram temple in ayodhya. he accused the bjp of spreading false claims that shiv sena has abadoned Hindutva. he also clarifies that, I have broken ties with the BJP, not with the Hindutva. Even if die, i will not give up on the Hindutva. Thackeray added on his statement that while the party’s election symbol may be a flaming torch, its true identity remains the saffron color.
