The cause of the explosions in Dubai remains unknown. An official explanation is awaited. The blasts occurred at Jebel Ali Port and the surrounding industrial area; however, the specific cause has not yet been officially disclosed.

Meanwhile, citing NASA thermal imagery, local media has reported a massive fire at a warehouse near Jebel Ali Port,t a facility used for fuel storage and transfer. This suggests that a large fire broke out in the area following the explosions.
This coincided with reports of explosions in Yemen, which some media outlets described as airstrikes, further complicating the overall situation. Some local media reports have speculated that Houthi rebels might have targeted the Jebel Ali industrial zone.
