Pakistan caused panic by launching airstrikes on Afghanistan after midnight; reports indicate that some people were killed in this attack by the Pakistan Air Force. Afghanistan, refusing to back down, has warned that it will soon teach Pakistan a lesson.
Afghan government spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid has strongly condemned the overnight airstrikes carried out by Pakistani forces in Kunar and Paktika provinces, describing them as attacks on civilian areas. He stated that a fitting response would be given to this aggression. His statement highlights the ongoing tension between the two nations. According to Mujahid, one woman and two men were killed in Kunar province.
Such attacks increase regional instability.
According to Afghan government spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid, four people were also injured in the Pakistani attacks. He claimed that all the victims were local civilians. A house and a local shop were targeted in Paktika province, though no casualties occurred there. These attacks took place at night while people were inside their homes. The Afghan side maintains that such attacks target civilians and serve to increase instability in the region.
