Tight security arrangements have been put in place in Delhi ahead of Independence Day, August 15th. The Delhi Police have even issued a high alert. In addition to issuing the high alert, the Delhi Police have released approximately 19 posters depicting most-wanted terrorists. These posters reportedly belong to the Indian Mujahideen, Al-Qaeda, and Khalistani organizations. Furthermore, the police have appealed to citizens to immediately report any suspicious activity to the police. This means that extensive and strict security arrangements have been put up throughout Delhi ahead of Independence Day. The posters of the 19 most-wanted terrorists released by the Delhi Police have been placed in various locations across Delhi, including crowded areas, markets, shopping malls, and major public places, so that the assistance of ordinary citizens can be sought.

The Delhi Police has released posters of 19 most wanted terrorists, including those affiliated with the Indian Mujahideen, Al-Qaeda, and various other organizations. The list includes Riyaz Bhatkal and Shabandri Mohammad Iqbal alias Iqbal Bhatkal, both associated with the Indian Mujahideen, as well as Mohammad Sharjeel Akhtar, Abu Sufiyan, and Syed Mohammad Arshiyan, all associated with Al-Qaeda. Also included are the names of individuals associated with the Khalistan Zindabad Force: Ranjeet Singh alias Neeta and Paramjit Singh Pamma, Arshdeep Singh alias Arsh Dala of the Khalistan Tiger Force, Harvinder Singh Sandhu alias Rinda, Wadhawa Singh Babbar, and Gurmeet Singh Bagga, all associated with the Babbar Khalsa International. The names and photographs of all these people have been displayed in all public places so that citizens can identify them or report any suspicious incident.

High Alert Issued
In view of this, a high alert has been issued across Delhi, accompanied by heightened security measures, for Independence Day. Every year, during national events like Independence Day and Republic Day, the Delhi Police is on high alert and closely monitors the security measures. These events attract large numbers of people, and therefore, strict security measures are in place. Delhi Police Appeal
While the Delhi Police is on high alert with strict security measures, the Delhi Police has also appealed to the public to immediately inform the police if they have any information about any of the individuals depicted on the posters. If they see these individuals or witness any activity, even the slightest one, call the police control room number 112 and report it. Along with this, it has also been said that keeping in mind the secret of the common man, his information will be kept confidential and a reward will also be given.
