Rajiv Yuva Vikasam Scheme: This is a scheme of the Telangana government which is being run keeping in mind the development of the youth of the state, under this scheme, the youth interested in doing business are given a loan of up to ₹ 400000 to start their own startup, in which the government also gives subsidy. This scheme has been started in 2025 for which applications have been sought, by taking advantage of this scheme the youth of the state will be empowered and they will get employment opportunities.
What is Rajiv Yuva Vikasam Scheme?
This scheme is an ambitious scheme of the government in which loans are given to provide employment to the unemployed youth of the state, under this, the youth are given loan facility under three categories in which they also get subsidy. About 5 lakh youth of the state will get the benefit of this scheme and they will find new business opportunities for themselves. This scheme was started by Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on 15 March 2025, in which financial assistance of up to ₹ 400000 is given to the youth to start their own startup.
Objective of Rajiv Yuva Vikasam Scheme
The main objective of this scheme is to empower the youth of the state by providing them business opportunities for which they are given a loan of up to ₹ 400000 and subsidy is also given in it so that the youth of Telangana state become empowered and get job opportunities and remain financially independent, and this also improves the financial condition of the state.
Rajiv Yuva Vikasam Scheme Eligibility
- Only youth residing permanently in Telangana can apply under this scheme.
- Only those persons can apply in this scheme who are unemployed.
- Only one person from a family can apply under this scheme.
- If a person in the family has already taken a loan in which he has received subsidy, then he will be allowed to apply again after 5 years.
- Priority is given to the poor to take advantage of the scheme.
- Under this scheme, the age of candidates applying for agriculture sector should be 20 to 60 years and the age of candidates applying in non-agriculture sector should be 21 to 55 years.
- SC ST MBC and people of minority community can apply in this scheme.
- Only those applicants whose family income is less than Rs 1.5 lakh in rural areas and ₹ 200000 in urban areas will be able to apply in it.
