Discussions have intensified regarding Realme’s upcoming Number series. Several new details have emerged regarding the Realme 17 Pro+, the company’s next premium smartphone. A leak shared by a well-known tipster details the phone’s potential hardware. While the leak doesn’t directly name the smartphone, reports are linking it to the Realme 17 Pro+. If the information is accurate, this phone could present significant changes in terms of camera and display compared to the previous generation.
Display may feature a high-end panel
According to the leak, Realme’s new Number series smartphone is expected to feature a 6.78-inch flat OLED display. The screen resolution is expected to be 1.5K. Currently, no confirmed information has been revealed regarding the panel’s refresh rate, but considering the premium segment, it is expected to feature a high refresh rate screen.
Based on the previous generation’s features, some reports also suggest a 144Hz refresh rate. However, this cannot be considered confirmed as Realme has not released any official information regarding the phone’s display.
The camera could be the phone’s biggest highlight.
The company may focus on the camera system in the Realme 17 Pro+. According to leaks, the smartphone’s rear panel could feature a triple camera setup. This is said to include a 200MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera.
The 200MP sensor and periscope camera are receiving the most attention in this camera combination. Previously revealed information suggests that the main camera could use a Samsung HP5 sensor, while the telephoto camera is likely to use a Samsung JN5 sensor.
The periscope camera could also support 3.5x optical zoom. This could be particularly beneficial for capturing distant objects. If all these features are included in the final model, the Realme 17 Pro+ could become a very interesting option for camera-focused users.
The battery may also see significant changes.
