Raja Raghuwanshi Murder Case: Sonam Raghuvanshi, wife of Raja Raghuvanshi who went to Meghalaya for honeymoon with her husband, has surrendered. According to the police, his wife Sonam Raghuvanshi may have a hand in the murder of Raja Raghuvanshi. She had paid the killers who carried out this crime.
Four other people including Raja Raghuvanshi’s wife have been arrested in this case. According to the information, Sonam Raghuvanshi was having a love affair with a young man named Raj Kushwaha, the police suspect that this love affair could also be the reason for the murder.
Sonam Raghuvanshi was found in a Dhaba in Ghazipur
Sonam Raghuvanshi went missing from Shillong after her husband was murdered in Raja Raghuwanshi Murder Case. After this, she was recovered from a Dhaba in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh late on Sunday night and she surrendered. Sonam had called her home from a Dhaba near Nandganj in Ghazipur, after which the police arrested her from there.
Both of them had gone on honeymoon on 10th

After 10 days of marriage, both of them went for honeymoon, where they went to visit Kamakhya temple in Assam, after this on 20 May 2025, they left from Indore for Kamrup in Assam, but instead of going to Kamakhya temple in Assam, they reached Meghalaya.
They reached Aghor forest of Meghalaya, where Raja’s mother also refused to let them go there. They stayed in Meghalaya for about two days, after which they went for a walk on a scooty on 22 May, after which both of them did not return and the scooty on which they had gone for a walk was found in a suspicious condition at a place, after which the information of the incident was registered with the police.
Police also searched the forests
after this incident of Raja Raghuwanshi Murder Case, the police conducted a search operation in the forests. After which the dead body of Raja Raghuwanshi was recovered from a ditch in Sohar area, where a girl’s white shirt and a mobile and wrist watch were recovered from him. After this, the body was sent for post-mortem, after which it was found that the murder was due to a sharp weapon. After this, Meghalaya Police and Madhya Pradesh Police started investigating this case.
Sonam is admitted in Ghazipur Hospital
Sonam has been admitted in Ghazipur Hospital after being arrested from Ghazipur in UP in Raja Raghuwanshi Murder Case. Police said that she surrendered herself in Nandganj police station, Sonam’s father Devi Singh says that he will get the case investigated by CBI because his daughter is innocent.
