Weather
Uttar Pradesh is currently witnessing a break in monsoon activity as monsoon winds have weakened significantly. Due to this, there are little to no chances of widespread rainfall over the next two days. The current weather pattern is expected to continue, bringing only light showers or sporadic drizzle across different parts of the state.

Forecast Update Information
According to the latest forecasts, the monsoon system that had earlier reached some districts of eastern and central UP has lost its momentum. As a result, the weather has turned mostly dry, and temperatures have started to rise again, particularly during the daytime. Residents in many areas are experiencing humid conditions due to increased moisture in the atmosphere, but without the relief of rain.
Weather experts suggest that this dry spell won’t last long. A cyclonic circulation is forming over the Bay of Bengal, which is likely to intensify and become more active around June 29. This system is expected to push moist winds toward the eastern part of Uttar Pradesh. Under its influence, rainfall is predicted to return starting June 30, beginning with eastern districts such as Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Azamgarh, and surrounding regions.

Until then, patchy rainfall or light drizzling may occur at isolated locations, but it will not bring any major relief from the heat. Western parts of the state, including areas like Agra, Meerut, and Noida, are likely to remain mostly dry for the next few days. People living in these regions should be prepared for warm and uncomfortable weather, especially in the afternoon hours.
Rain Update Information
Farmers, in particular, are keeping a close eye on the weather developments. Many are waiting for consistent rains to begin their sowing activities for the Kharif season. With the monsoon likely to regain strength by the end of June, agricultural activities are expected to pick up soon after.

The Meteorological Department is closely monitoring the situation and will continue to provide timely updates as the monsoon system over the Bay of Bengal develops. For now, residents are advised to stay hydrated, avoid unnecessary travel during the peak heat hours, and keep an umbrella handy for the occasional light showers.
In summary, the monsoon pause is temporary. While widespread rain may not occur immediately, conditions are setting up for a revival. By June 30, cloud systems are expected to move in, bringing the much-awaited monsoon rains to large parts of Uttar Pradesh.
