Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis has announced a subsidy of ₹50,000 under the PM Awas Yojna. Now after this announcement, people will be given funding of up to ₹2.1 lakh to build houses. Maharashtra Rural Development Minister Jaykumar Gore said that the scheme has been approved by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and its expenses will be borne by the state government. Now, after the additional subsidy of ₹50,000 in this scheme, it will become even easier for people to build houses.
The state government will bear the cost of subsidy

Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis has announced to give 50,000 additional subsidy for PM Awas Yojna, the cost of which will be borne by the state government, this information has been given by Jai Kumar Gore, Rural Development Minister of Maharashtra, now after this, funding of Rs 2.1 lakh will be done for building the house, its benefit will be given in the budget of 2025-26, in which subsidy will be given to the applicant.
The first installment released on Saturday

Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis announced for this subsidy .22 February, for PM Awas Yojna, its first installment was released on Saturday, 22 February 2025, under which installment has been released for 10 lakh units. The government aims to give its benefit to 20 lakh units, its second amount will be released very soon within the next 15 days.
The target is 20 lakh houses

Under PM Awas Yojna, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis the target is to provide financial assistance for 20 lakh houses, under which 100% housing has been approved within the first 45 days under the Swadeshi program, under which the first installment has been released to 10 lakh families in the presence of Union Minister Amit Shah. Now very soon its second installment will also be released.
What is PM Awas Yojana?
PM Awas Yojna is a scheme run by the central government under which poor and eligible families are provided financial assistance by the government to build their own permanent house, through this scheme, the government provides financial assistance to build a house for those citizens who are not financially well off and belong to the reserved category and do not have their own house, for this the applicants have to fulfill its eligibility.
By taking advantage of this scheme, those citizens who do not have their own house will be able to build their own house. Now under this, after giving an additional subsidy of 50000 in Maharashtra, the applicants will be given 2.1 lakh rupees to build a house.
