Dahi Paratha Ingredients

  • Wheat flour
  • Fresh yogurt
  • Salt
  • Red chili powder
  • A little celery
  • Cumin seeds
  • Finely chopped coriander leaves
  • Finely chopped green chilies
  • A little chaat masala

Full step-by-step recipe

First, take wheat flour and mix it well with fresh yogurt, salt, red chili powder, a little celery, cumin seeds, finely chopped coriander leaves, finely chopped green chilies, and a little chaat masala.

Once all the ingredients are mixed well, add water little by little and knead into a soft dough. The yogurt keeps the dough soft, so add less water and gradually. Adding too much water can make the dough runny, so use less water. Once the dough is ready, cover it and let it rest for a while.

Now make small balls of dough and shape them into parathas. Turn on the gas stove and place the pan on it to heat. Place the prepared paratha on it. After one side is lightly cooked, flip it over and apply a little oil or ghee on top. Do the same for both sides. When both sides are golden brown and the paratha is thoroughly cooked, remove it and place it on a plate.

The spicy yogurt parathas are now ready for you to enjoy hot. To enhance its taste, you can sprinkle butter on top and serve it with finely chopped onions.

You can enjoy it with yogurt, green chutney, pickle, or tomato chutney.
