The IMD has issued an alert for heavy rainfall in 17 states. This includes Karnataka, Telangana, Puducherry, Odisha, Jharkhand, Delhi, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh. Additionally, heavy rain is expected in Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Bihar, Uttarakhand, Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Assam. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rainfall is also likely in Tripura and Arunachal Pradesh. An alert has been issued for strong winds, reaching speeds of up to 75 km/h, in these states during the rainfall.

According to the IMD, Delhi may experience light rain today, October 26. There is also a possibility of gusty winds reaching speeds of 30 km/h. In Delhi, the maximum temperature today is expected to reach 31°C, while the minimum temperature may drop to 17°C.
Possibility of rain in various parts of Uttar Pradesh
The IMD has predicted heavy rainfall in Ghaziabad, Gautam Buddh Nagar, Mathura, Agra, Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, and Ballia.
