Delhi Police Solves 1.5 Crore Rupee Robbery
Delhi Police claims to have solved an armed robbery case involving approximately 1.5 crore rupees that occurred in June. Police arrested six people in this case and two minors were also caught. During the investigation, looted money worth about Rs 1.01 crore was recovered.
According to the Delhi police, the incident took place on June 10 near Zakhira flyover in Sarai Rohilla area of North Delhi. The complainant and his associate were carrying cash worth around Rs 1.5 crore on a scooter when the bike-borne accused stopped them and looted the cash.
Teams of Sarai Rohilla police station, North District Special Staff and Crime Branch were deployed to investigate the case. The police have claimed to have reached the accused on the basis of CCTV footage and technical investigation.
Footage from over 500 CCTV cameras was examined.
During the investigation, police analyzed footage from over 500 CCTV cameras. Through this, an attempt was made to link the activities of the accused and the movement of the vehicles used by them.
According to the police, the search for the accused was also carried out outside Delhi and the investigation reached about eight states. The Delhi police arrested the accused after chasing them for about 4,000 kilometres.
The investigation also revealed information about the use of different vehicles. Delhi Police have also seized the motorcycle and scooter used in the robbery.

Six accused arrested, two minors also apprehended
According to Delhi police, six people have been arrested in the case. These include the names of Vicky alias Ganja, Dheer Singh, Vireshe alias Veeru, Karan, Manpreet alias Twinkle and Charanjeet Singh. Two minors have also been arrested in the case.
According to the Delhi police, some of the arrested accused have previous criminal cases registered against them. Officials said that during the investigation, the role of all the suspects was examined in different ways.
