According to the Railways, this change is being made due to the construction of a new bridge. This bridge will connect Hathidah Junction, Tal Junction, Rampur Dumra, Dinkar Gram Simaria, and Barauni Junction. According to the information, the bridge being constructed has a single line, and technically, converting it to a double line is not possible. This is why it is being connected to provide convenience to passengers.

This includes all passenger trains, special trains, and express trains passing through Bihar, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, and surrounding states.
