- Paneer (Indian cottage cheese)
- Gram flour (Besan)
- Garlic paste
- Ginger paste
- Green chilies
- Red chili powder
- Garam masala
- Chaat masala
- Coriander powder
- Turmeric powder
- Salt
- Oil
- Tomatoes
- Onions
- Cashew paste
- Cumin seeds
- White cream
How to make Matar Kofta:
First, we will tell you the complete method of how to make the gravy and the koftas (dumplings) for this Matar Kofta. For this, you first need to boil the green peas.
Once the peas are boiled, mash them well. Now, in this mashed peas, you need to add chopped paneer, garlic paste, ginger paste, gram flour, chopped green chilies, turmeric powder, garam masala, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt, and mix everything well.
Once all the ingredients are well combined, make small balls from the mixture. This will give them the shape of koftas (dumplings).
Now, take a pan and heat the oil thoroughly. Once the oil is hot, deep fry the prepared koftas until they turn light brown. Fry the koftas until they are golden brown. Once they are golden brown, remove them onto a plate lined with tissue paper. The tissue paper will absorb the excess oil.
After this, you need to prepare the gravy. For this, first heat oil in a pan.
Once the oil is hot, add cumin seeds, onion paste, ginger paste, and garlic paste, and sauté everything well.
