According to the Reports, A major incident has been reported from Pakistan-Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Violent Protest and a complete shutdown created a chaos in the region. During these protests, clashes broke out between the demonstrators and security forces, leading to the death of three people. More than a dozen others were injured in the violence. The situation in the area has turned tense as people continue to express anger against the authorities. Shops, markets and public places remained closed, adding to the unrest. Security forces have been deployed in large numbers to control the situation and prevent further violence. The incident has once again highlighted the growing dissatisfaction among the local people in PoJK.

Terrorists were Involved in the Violence

The anger among people in Pakistan occupied Jammu and Kashmir PoJK has grown due to the government’s failure to meet the demands raised by the joint Awami action committee. Amid the violent clashes, the chairman of the JK Action Committee, Shaukat Nawaz Mir, Addressed a gathering in Muzaffarabad. He directly accused government institutions of targeting the protestors. In his speech, he said that the government has now restored to killing its own people. He further alleged that state institutions, the administrations, criminals and even terrorists were involved in the violence, claiming that they had evidence to prove it. Mir also stated that the police stood with the people, not against them. Criticizing the Pakistani media, he accused it of spreading false information while ignoring the ground reality where innocent citizens were being killed.

As per the recent reports, Mirpur, Muzaffarabad and Kotli witnessed the complete shutdown and rallied where large crowds gathered to demand their rights. Reports says, Protestors accused the authorities of ignoring their calls for justice, turning the demonstrations into one of the strongest waves of public anger seen in recent years. In the midst of this unrest, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in PoJK extended support to the movement by promoting online campaigns. the party released statements blaming the Anwar-led government for Incompetence and repression. Also, PTI Further claimed that the videos had surfaced showing peaceful protestors being fired upon by members of the Muslim Conference under the protection of the state. According to party, four people were seriously injured in the firing incident. PTI also alleged that the protests were met with state backed violence, further fueling anger among the people. The situation continues to expose deep mistrust between citizens and the government in PoJK.
