New Delhi: The conflict between Saudi Arabia and Yemen has once again reached a critical stage, marked by continuous attacks. Yemen is targeting civilian infrastructure in Saudi Arabia, resulting in loss of life. In light of the escalating attacks, the Indian government has urged its citizens to exercise caution.
The Indian Embassy in Riyadh has issued an advisory for Indian citizens due to the mounting tensions in Saudi Arabia. The Embassy has asked all Indians to remain vigilant given the current situation and has urged them to stay indoors. Additionally, the Embassy has advised citizens to refrain from sharing videos related to the attacks.
Attacks Targeting Airports in Saudi Arabia
Guidelines have been issued for Indian citizens following attacks targeting Abha International Airport and Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport. India had previously strongly condemned the attacks on these two airports. The Ministry of External Affairs stated that the targeting of Abha International Airport and King Khalid International Airport has resulted in civilian casualties.

Advice to Indian Citizens
Given the prevailing situation, all citizens residing in Saudi Arabia are advised to remain alert. The advisory instructs them to stay indoors and follow directions issued by local authorities through official channels. Indian citizens are strictly advised to refrain from circulating or reposting any videos or news reports related to these incidents.
Government of India Condemns the Attacks
It is worth noting that India has strongly condemned the attacks on airports in Saudi Arabia. India has termed the targeting of civilian infrastructure as completely unacceptable. The Ministry of External Affairs stated that India condemns the attacks targeting Abha International Airport and King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh over the past few days, which resulted in civilian casualties and injuries.

The Ministry said, “Targeting civilian infrastructure is completelyely unacceptable. We express our deepest condolences to the families who have lost their loved ones. We wish a speedy recovery to the injured.” New Delhi also expressed solidarity with Saudi Arabia, stating that it stands in solidarity with the people and government of Saudi Arabia.
