Trump-Xi Summit emphasizes stabilizing relations

Agreement to extend the Trade Truce by two months

Issues such as tariffs, China’s purchases of American products, rare-earth supplies, and technology restrictions remain important in trade relations. No permanent solution has been found to these questions.

Xi outlined China’s position on Taiwan.
