Dark circles under the eyes affect the beauty of the face. If you have them, we’re going to share some tips you can use to remove them at home.

Lack of sleep, excessive screen time, stress, allergies, frequent eye rubbing, dehydration, and genetic factors can also cause dark circles. So, get rid of them.

Apply a cold compress

If you want to remove your dark circles, the first home remedy is to apply a cold compress. To do this, first take a clean cloth, soak it in cold water, squeeze it out, and place the cold compress under your eyes for 5-10 minutes with your eyes closed, where the circles are located. The cold compress will reduce puffiness around the eyes, leaving them feeling refreshed.

Get enough sleep

The next way to remove dark circles is to try to get at least 7-9 hours of sleep daily. If you use your mobile phone late into the night, it can increase your dark circles. So, reduce your screen time and get proper sleep.

Apply Cucumber Slices to Your Eyes

The next remedy is to place cold cucumber slices on your eyes for a few minutes. This can feel cool and refreshing around the eyes. While it’s not a permanent cure, it’s an easy home remedy for tired eyes. It will help you feel less tired and less fatigued.

Drink Enough Water

The next tip to remove dark circles is to drink plenty of water throughout the day. This will keep your body hydrated. Include fruits, vegetables, and other nutritious foods in your diet along with water.

Know the Precautionary Tips

Use Aloe Vera with Caution

If your skin isn’t sensitive, a small amount of pure aloe vera gel can be applied to the skin under the eyes. Apply it with extreme caution. Avoid contact with eyes, as this could cause eye damage.

Eat a balanced diet

Include nutritious foods like green vegetables, fruits, pulses, eggs, milk/yogurt, nuts, and adequate protein in your diet. This will help prevent dark circles. If you have iron or other nutrient deficiencies, it’s best to consult a doctor for evaluation and treatment.
