The amount for the scheme’s next 24th instalment is likely to be released in the first week of October. More than 9 crore farmers are expected to benefit from this instalment.
The funds for the 23rd instalment were previously released in June 2026. Farmers wishing to avail the benefits of the upcoming instalment must complete certain essential tasks first. Failure to do so could result in the instalment getting stuck, which would be a major setback for the farmers. However, the official date for the release of the instalment has not yet been announced.
When might the scheme’s 24th instalment
The funds for the 23rd instalment were received in June. A gap of four months is now nearing completion. Based on this timeline, there is a strong expectation that the instalment amount will be received in October. Nilesh Chaurasia, Deputy Director of Agriculture, has also indicated that the upcoming instalment could be credited to farmers’ accounts in October. Payments for farmers who fail to comply with the rules could get stalled.
Which farmers might face payment delays?
To receive funds under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, farmers must keep certain important requirements in mind. The most crucial among these is e-KYC. Beneficiaries who have not yet completed their e-KYC may face delays in receiving their instalment. The government has made this process mandatory to weed out incorrect or ineligible beneficiaries from the scheme.
Additionally, land verification is essential. Farmers whose land record verification is incomplete may face significant difficulties in receiving the instalment. nt Therefore, if the e-KYC or land-related processes are incomplete, it is vital to finish them promptly. Farmers will be able to complete the e-KYC process online, without facing any hassle.
How to check status from the comfort of your home
Farmers must first visit the scheme’s official website, pmkisan.gov.in.
Next, navigate to the ‘Farmers Corner’ section and select the ‘Know Your Status’ option. Next, you will need to enter your registered mobile number and the CAPTCHA code.
After entering the OTP received on your mobile, details regarding the instalment will appear on the screen.
If the status indicates any discrepancies or a pending process, farmers can take steps to rectify the issue in a timely manner.
