Full Recipe for Bread Malai Roll

To make Bread Malai Rolls, first take a large pan and pour in the milk. Bring the milk to a boil. Once it boils, lower the heat and add sugar, cardamom powder, and saffron (if using). Simmer the milk on a low flame, stirring occasionally, until it reduces to half its original volume and thickens into a rich consistency. Once thickened, set it aside to cool.

Next, take a bowl and add the milk powder. To this, add fresh cream, sugar, a little cardamom powder, and chopped dry fruits (such as finely chopped cashews, raisins, walnuts, pistachios, and almonds). Mix everything together to form a thick paste; you can add a spoonful of milk to help bind it into a smooth, thick mixture.

Now, take the bread slices and trim off the brown crusts using a knife. Then, flatten the white part of the bread using a rolling pin; flattening it makes it easier to roll up later.

Spread the prepared milk powder and cream mixture evenly over the flattened bread using a spoon. Once the mixture is spread well, roll the bread up tightly. You can use a little milk to seal the edge, or secure it with a toothpick.

Your delicious Bread Malai Rolls are now ready to serve. Arrange it beautifully on a serving plate or tray. You can also enjoy it by pouring some rabri over it. For presentation, you can garnish it with pistachios, almonds, and saffron.

Refrigerate it for an hour before serving so that it tastes even more delicious when eaten.
