Dhadak 2 vs Son of Sardaar 2
Due to their inability to sustain momentum, Dhadak 2 and Son of Sardaar 2’s box office clash hasn’t exactly made the cash registers ring.
Box office receipts for Dhadak 2 versus Son of Sardaar 2: Despite receiving mixed reviews from critics at first, Ajay Devgn’s comedic drama managed to outperform Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri’s well-reviewed Dhadak 2.

However, Dhadak 2, which stars Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri, is doing okay but isn’t getting the kind of buzz that a Dharma Productions movie should. The movie has made ₹14.35 crore locally in five days.
stand-alone follow-up to the 2018 Dhadak, directed by Shazia Iqbal and produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, Zee Studios, and others. It has nothing to do with the original story or characters, though. This time, it adapts the critically acclaimed Tamil film Pariyerum Perumal (2018).

Performance by city remained inconsistent. With 44.75% occupancy, NCR was in first place, followed by Chennai (37.0%) and Jaipur (40.00%). Cities like Hyderabad, Surat, and Chandigarh responded poorly, whereas metro areas like Mumbai (29.25%) and Pune (30.25%) reported average numbers.
Son of Sardaar 2
Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora and produced by Ajay Devgn in collaboration with Devgn Films and Jio Studios, the film is a follow-up to the 2012 action-comedy Son of Sardaar. The movie centers on Jassi (Ajay), who goes to Scotland to make amends with his wife but instead becomes involved in a tumultuous Sikh wedding and a mob fight. He now has to navigate cultural upheaval while saving his marriage and the captives.
Mrunal Thakur (as Rabia/Rabiya), Ravi Kishan, Sanjay Mishra, Deepak Dobriyal, Neeru Bajwa, Chunky Panday, Vindu Dara Singh, Kubbra Sait, and Ajay reprise their roles as Jassi and Jassi, respectively, in the ensemble cast.

Ajay Devgn’s movie made ₹7.25 crore on its first day of release, according to trade tracking website Sacnilk. Day 2’s earnings of ₹8.25 crore represented a 13.79% rise in collecting. The movie ended its first weekend with ₹24.75 crore after earning ₹9.25 crore on day three.
Sacnilk claims that the movie did better than Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri’s Dhadak 2, which made ₹3.5 crore on its first day of release. Despite receiving favorable reviews from reviewers, the movie did not succeed at the box office. It ended its first weekend with just ₹11.4 crore after earning ₹3.75 crore on day two and ₹4.15 crore on day three.
