New Delhi: If you are a beneficiary of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, there is no need to worry. The wait for the next 24th instalment could soon be over for farmers. Speculation suggests that the Central Government might transfer the ₹2,000 instalment under this scheme on October 20. More than 9 crore farmers are set to benefit from this.
The government previously released an instalment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana in June, and farmers have been eagerly awaiting the next payment since then. When was the 23rd instalment released?
Under the Central Government-run PM Kisan Yojana, eligible farmers receive ₹2,000 in each instalment. The 23rd instalment was released in 2026. Before that, the 22nd instalment was released on March 23, 2026. Consequently, the four-month gap following the 23rd instalment will be completed on October 20.
For this reason, some farmers are anticipating that the 24th instalment might also be released on October 20. Since the interval between instalments is typically four months, the arrival of the next instalment on October 20 cannot be confirmed solely based on the date of the previous one.
Meanwhile, the government has not yet announced the release date. The Central Government usually updates the instalment details on the official website to prevent any confusion among farmers, allowing them to easily check their instalment status.
How to check the instalment?
Farmers enrolled in the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana can easily check information regarding the arrival of their instalment. You will not have to face any trouble regarding this.
To do this, the farmer must first visit the official website of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.
Next, click on the ‘Know Your Status’ option available on the website.
Then, the farmer will need to enter their registration number and the security code displayed on the screen.
After that, the OTP received on the registered mobile number must be entered.
Once the OTP is verified, details regarding payments and instalments linked to the PM Kisan account will appear on the screen.
Currently, there is only speculation regarding the date of October 20. Clarity on when the 24th instalment will be released will only emerge after the government officially announces the date. You can check online as soon as the instalment is transferred.
