The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert for heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning across 14 states. Alert for Heavy Rain in 14 States
According to the Meteorological Department, alerts have been issued for 14 states. The IMD has issued a heavy rain alert for October 1 for Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, and Himachal Pradesh. Additionally, warnings for heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning have been issued for Jammu & Kashmir, Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, and West Bengal.
Furthermore, strong winds reaching speeds of 60 km/h are expected in Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and Maharashtra. People have been urged to exercise caution due to the risk of lightning strikes.

Strong winds reaching speeds of 40 km/h are also expected during this period. In Lucknow, the maximum temperature today (October 1) is expected to be 33°C, while the minimum is likely to be 23°C.

The IMD has issued a heavy rain alert for Patna, Gaya, Jehanabad, Siwan, Buxar, Saran, Bhojpur, and Muzaffarpur. Additionally, thunderstorms are expected in Vaishali, Samastipur, and Darbhanga. According to the IMD, strong winds blowing at 30 km/h are likely. In Patna, the maximum temperature today (October 1) is expected to reach 33°C, with a minimum of 24°C.
Heavy Rain Expected in MP
According to the Meteorological Department, torrential rain is likely in Dewas, Hoshangabad, Bhopal, Indore, Vidisha, and Ashok Nagar. Wind speeds here are estimated to reach 60 km/h. In Bhopal, the maximum temperature on October 1 is expected to be 32°C, while the minimum is likely to drop to 21°C.
