A total of more than 45.96 lakh job seeker registrations were recorded on the Rojgaar Sangam portal in Uttar Pradesh as of September 2026. According to the report, approximately 12.60 lakh new job seekers have joined the platform in the last three and a half years.
Apart from government and private jobs, outsourcing and campus placement opportunities are also provided on the portal. According to the official portal, job seekers can search for opportunities based on qualification, location, salary, department and category.
The increasing number of registrations also shows that a large number of youth are looking for different employment options. In such a situation, in the election environment of 2027, jobs and employment opportunities are becoming an important issue for political parties.
Demand for government jobs is high, and competition is fierce.
In Uttar Pradesh, there is intense competition among young people for government jobs. Around 8.90 lakh candidates applied for the recent UP PCS-2026 exam, while the number of advertised posts was around 500.
