Today’s Stock Market

Global Market Decline
- Korea’s Kospi is up 0.52% at 3,203, while Japan’s Nikkei is up 0.50% at 42,731 in Asian markets.
- China’s Shanghai Composite is up 0.072% at 3,803, while Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index is down 0.66% at 25,035.
- The US Dow Jones ended the day on August 27 at 45,565, up 0.32%. The S&P 500 increased by 0.24%, while the Nasdaq Composite increased by 0.21%.
FIIs sold shares valued at ₹6,516 crore on August 26.
- Foreign investors (FIIs) sold shares in the cash segment for ₹6,516.49 crore on August 26. The net purchase made by domestic investors (DIIs) was ₹7,060.37 crore.
- Foreign investors have sold shares totaling ₹34,733.75 crore so far in August. A net purchase of ₹76,420.57 crore has been made by domestic investors during this time.
- Foreign investors sold shares for a total of ₹47,666.68 crore in July. Over the course of the month, domestic investors also made a net purchase of ₹60,939.16 crore.

US tariffs caused the Sensex to drop 849 points on Tuesday.
The stock market also experienced a drop on Tuesday, August 26, the second trading day of the week. The Sensex ended the day at 80,787, down 849 points (1.04%). Additionally, the Nifty fell 256 points (1.02%) to 24,712.
