Saini said, “Our brothers and sisters live in Delhi. Will we poison your water? Our Prime Minister and the central leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party also live in Delhi. Are we giving them different water?”

With voting for the Delhi Assembly elections approaching, election campaigning is at its peak. Political parties are making every effort to win over voters. The BJP is also putting its full strength into the campaign. Meanwhile, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has claimed that on February 8, the “shop of lies” will be shut down and the BJP will form the government in Delhi.

 Kejriwal Kept Lying Constantly

Nayab Singh Saini said that people have now understood the “shop of lies” that was opened in Delhi. On February 8, it will be shut down. He added that the promises made by Arvind Kejriwal are still just promises—none of them have been fulfilled. “Arvind Kejriwal has been constantly lying,” Saini said.

Attempt to Hide Mismanagement

Nayab Singh Saini is also campaigning for the BJP in Delhi. On Saturday, he strongly attacked Arvind Kejriwal. Saini accused Kejriwal of trying to hide his failures and mismanagement in Delhi by spreading false propaganda, including claims that poison had been mixed in the Yamuna’s water. Saini said that Kejriwal was tarnishing the reputation of Haryana, his birthplace, with false accusations. He further claimed that on February 8, Kejriwal’s “shop of lies” would be shut down.

Yamuna Water is Not Just a Source, But a Matter of Faith

Saini stated, “Arvind Kejriwal is spreading false propaganda to cover up his failures and mismanagement, including the claim that Yamuna’s water is poisonous, to create tension between Haryana and Delhi. For me, the Yamuna is not just a source of water, but a matter of faith. I have personally drunk its water and exposed the lies of the former Chief Minister of Delhi.”

Saini went on to ask, “Delhi has our brothers and sisters. Would we poison your water? Our Prime Minister and the central leadership of the BJP also live in Delhi—are we giving them different water?” Saini added that Kejriwal knew the public would ask about the poor water quality in Delhi, which is why he started spreading these false stories.

Delhi’s Assembly elections will be held on February 5, with the counting of votes on February 8.
