Tesla’s new showroom
The business opened its first experience center in BKC, Mumbai, and introduced its Model Y, with a starting price of ₹59.89 lakh.
Tesla will import the Model Y as a completely built unit (CBU) from its Shanghai manufacturing facility in China. The business, which was previously prevented from entering India because to hefty import duties, is managed by American tech billionaire Elon Musk.

Tesla India Motor and Energy Company, owned by well-known US entrepreneur Elon Musk, has begun preparing to open its third India showroom in Gurugram, following those in Delhi and Mumbai. For nine years, Tesla has rented roughly 51,000 square feet of super built-up space in Orchid Business Park on Sohna Road. There will be a warehouse, service center, and showroom built.
Documents from the real estate analysis company CRE Matrix show that Tesla rented 33,475 square feet of billable space from Garwal Property. The lease agreement went into effect on July 15, 2025, and it was registered on July 28.
After opening showrooms in Delhi and Mumbai, Elon Musk’s Tesla India Motor and Energy Company, a well-known businessman based in the US, is getting ready to open its third location in Gurugram. Tesla rented a 33,475 square foot charged space from Garwal Property, per records from the real estate analysis firm CRE Matrix. On July 15, 2025, the leasing agreement went into effect, and on July 28, it was registered.

Deposited security funds totaling ₹2.41 crore
The lease agreement stipulates that the EV giant has paid a security deposit of ₹2.41 crore and that the rent is due on the seventh of every month. There will be 51 parking spots available on this site, guaranteeing that neither Tesla’s staff nor its clients will experience any parking problems and that the location will be convenient for them.
