New Delhi: Tensions have escalated between the government and the opposition following the theft of offerings from the Ram Mandir complex. The government has constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to ensure a thorough and transparent investigation. Despite this, UP CM Yogi Adityanath and SP chief and Kannauj MP Akhilesh Yadav remain at loggerheads.
Akhilesh Yadav has been consistently targeting the Trust and the state government over the theft of offerings. Meanwhile, CM Yogi Adityanath, who visited Ayodhya, lashed out at the Congress and the Samajwadi Party. Yogi Adityanath remarked that those now speaking of faith were the very people who had facilitated the offering of Namaz at the sacred Hanumangarhi site.

He further asked if anyone could recite the Hanuman Chalisa inside the Jama Masjid. He questioned whether the Samajwadi Party and the Congress would be capable of doing so, asking who was responsible for having Namaz offered on the steps of Hanumangarhi.
SP and Congress Facilitated Namaz on Hanumangarhi Steps
UP CM Yogi Adityanath fiercely criticised the SP and the Congress, stating that they had sinned by facilitating Namaz on the steps of Hanumangarhi. He highlighted that his government had re-established Ayodhya as a cultural capital, noting that before 2017, visitors used to be viewed with suspicion.
He stated that now, with the grace of Lord Ram and the immense blessings of Pawan-sut Hanuman, all projects in Ayodhya appear to be progressing seamlessly. He asked if anyone had ever imagined that an international airport could be built in Ayodhya.
He pointed out that the Samajwadi Party had opposed the project and misled the public regarding the airport. Today, the Ayodhya International Airport, named after Maharshi Valmiki, connects the city to all major urban centres across the country.
Nothing Could Stop the Temple Construction
CM Yogi Adityanath mentioned that the night shelter in Ayodhya has been named ‘Nishadraj Grih’; he remarked that the opposition likely resents this because they failed to undertake such initiatives themselves. He added that not only did his government implement this measure here, but they also erected a magnificent statue depicting the meeting of Lord Ram and Nishadraj at Shringverpur. …the one for whom you were facilitating encroachment.

He further stated that the encroachment was being facilitated in the name of the Waqf that is the very difference. Members of the SP and Congress even created obstacles in the construction of the temple and raised questions regarding Ram. He remarked that the SP even had bullets fired at Ram devotees and sought to create an identity crisis for Ayodhya.
