At its 48th Annual General Meeting (AGM), Reliance Industries announced strategic alliances with Google and Meta, two of Silicon Valley’s most well-known companies, highlighting its aspirations in artificial intelligence. The action demonstrates Reliance’s intention to use AI at the center of its upcoming growth phase, which will involve the media, retail, telecom, and energy sectors.

The joint venture will offer a secure, full-stack Enterprise AI Platform-as-a-Service, powered by Meta’s cutting-edge open-source Llama models. This will allow organizations to customize, deploy, and manage generative AI models for a range of business functions, such as marketing and sales, IT development and operations, customer service, finance, and more.

RIL’s robust digital infrastructure and Meta’s potent open-source AI models are combined in this agreement to provide enterprise-grade AI at competitive prices, with a focus on small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and Indian firms.

Meta’s founder and CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, emphasized the partnership’s revolutionary potential. According to him, the combined venture would empower companies all over India by fusing Reliance’s extensive reach with Meta’s open-source AI algorithms.
