Heavy rain warning in 15 states
The India Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rain in 15 states, including U, P on August 29. According to IMD, a warning of heavy rain with thunder and lightning has been issued in Bihar, Delhi, Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh.
Apart from these, heavy rains can be seen in Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha and Madhya Pradesh. According to IMD, heavy rains with thunder and lightning may continue in Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra and Gujarat. Amidst heavy rain, wind can blow here at a speed of up to 8 kilometres per hour.
Heavy rain warning in Delhi
The India Meteorological Department has issued a warning of moderate to heavy rain in the capital, Delhi, today, i .e., on 18th August. During this period, an alert has been issued that the wind speed will be between 50 and 55 kilometres per hour. The maximum temperature in Delhi today, i.e. on August 2,9 is expected to be 36 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature is expected to reach 28 degrees Celsius.

There will be heavy rain in UP also.
The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rain in Moradabad, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Agra and Mathura. Apart from this, an alert for heavy rain has been issued in Kanpur, Mirzapur, Muzaffarnagar, Bulandshahr and Balrampur. IMD has predicted heavy rains in Bijnor, Maharajganj, Gorakhpur, Deoria, Sonbhadra, Chandauli, Varanasi, Mau, Prayagraj and Gorakhpur. An appeal has been made to take caution due to the o storm. There are chances of a strong storm blowing at the speed of 70 to 75 kilometres per hour.

The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rain in Bihar’s capital Patna, Saran, Siwan, Gaya, Buxar, Bhojpur and Vaishali. Apart from these, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Samastipur, Darbhanga, Madhubani, Purnia, Kishanganj, Araria and Saharsa. An alert for heavy rain and storm has been issued in Supaul, Khagaria, Katihar, Bhagalpur and Begusarai. A strong storm with a speed of 65 to 70 kilometres per hour is expected here.
