New Delhi: All is not well in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) these days. Unrest is evident as large numbers of people are staging protests against the Pakistani government. The stance taken by the people of PoK is being viewed as a major setback for Pakistan; residents of the region have now sought assistance from the Indian government and the Army.

Furthermore, leaders in PoK have surprised everyone by demanding the opening of the Line of Control (LoC) in the Poonch and Doda sectors of Jammu and Kashmir, expressing a desire to come to India. Pakistan’s anxiety is mounting as it witnesses the anger of the protesters. This is not the first time Pakistan has faced opposition in PoK; such incidents have occurred frequently in the past.

Pakistani Army Targeting Civilians

The people of PoK are fed up with the actions of the Pakistani Army and government. The Army is targeting ordinary citizens. In light of this, the people have warned Pakistan that other avenues remain open to them and have begun preparations to pursue those alternatives.

The ongoing unrest in PoK has claimed thousands of lives, with people being killed at the hands of Pakistan’s oppressive army. Observing this situation, Shaukat Aman Khan, a leader of the Joint Awami Action Committee, which is spearheading the protests, has appealed to the Indian government for help.

People Frustrated with the Pakistan Government

A video is currently going viral on social media in which residents of PoK are seen warning Pakistan and calling for assistance from the Indian government. They claim that the Pakistani Army is taking harsh measures against the protesters.

The Pakistani government has made life miserable for the locals by imposing an economic blockade. Consequently, there have been appeals for India to send humanitarian aid and open the border along the LoC. They argue that if the situation deteriorates further, the people of PoK should have the option to move to India.

Looming Crisis Over Food and Medicine

In a video going viral on social media, Aman Khan is seen appealing to India for help due to a shortage of rations and water in PoK. Meanwhile, Pakistani security forces have intensified their crackdown on protesters.

Consequently, a crisis regarding the availability of food and medicines is looming over PoK, leading to a growing humanitarian crisis in the region. Furthermore, while addressing a rally, Aman asked the crowd if they should march towards the Line of Control (LoC), a proposal that received their full support.

Widespread Turmoil in PoK

It is worth noting that unrest has gripped Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), resulting in bloodshed. Protests against the Pakistani government and army have been ongoing in the region for the past month.
