PM modi Maldives Visit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a two-day visit to Maldives where Maldives President Mohammad Muizzu has reached the airport to welcome him and he was welcomed with great enthusiasm.
PM Modi Maldives Visit: PM Modi is on a two-day visit to Maldives. Before this, he visited Britain for two days and now he has reached Maldives where the President of Maldives himself reached the airport to welcome him and welcomed him with great enthusiasm. His entire cabinet was also present there with him. PM Modi has been invited as the chief guest on the 60th anniversary of Maldives Independence Day.
Maldives President gave a warm welcome to PM Modi

PM Modi has reached Maldives for Maldives visit where he was warmly welcomed by the President of Maldives at the airport, Cabinet ministers were also present there with him, where Muizzu hugged PM Modi. Maldives President has invited PM Modi as the chief guest on the 60th anniversary of Maldives Independence Day, where many issues will be discussed between the two countries and PM Modi will attend the occasion as the chief guest.
Agreements were made on these things between India and Maldives

During PM Modi’s Maldives Visit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi discussed many topics with the President of Maldives, which also included many important agreements, these included extension of loan limit of Rs.4850 crore to Maldives, issuing of joint commemorative postage stamp on the 60th anniversary of establishment of India-Maldives diplomatic relations and inauguration of road and drainage system project in Addu city, apart from this, announcement of launch of free trade agreement between India and Maldives were some of the important agreements signed.

During PM Modi’s Maldives visit, PM Modi has tweeted on social media in which he said, “India and the Maldives fully understand the challenges of climate change and environmental degradation. And, we are committed to doing everything possible to boost sustainability. This evening in Malé, President Muizzu and I planted saplings, strengthening ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ (a tree for Mother) initiative and Pledge of 5 million Tree Plantation of the Maldives Government.”
Apart from this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in another tweet, “The roots of India-Maldives relations are older than history, as deep as the ocean… Both the countries are not only neighbors but also co-travelers.”

PM Modi’s Maldives Visit saw many agreements between India and Maldives, in which he wrote, “I am happy to announce the launch of the Free Trade Agreement between India and Maldives. We appreciate India’s help in Maldives’ economy and liquidity related problems… I express my heartfelt gratitude to India for the provision of 72 vehicles for the Ministry of Defense of Maldives.”
