Chaos ensued when a massive fire suddenly broke out at ‘Udyam Point’ restaurant in the Jafrabad area of the capital, Delhi. Faced with the raging flames, trapped individuals jumped from the restaurant building itself. The fire was so intense that the entire building was engulfed in smoke.
People rushed to the upper floors in a desperate bid to save their lives. Fire department teams arrived at the scene immediately after receiving the alert. Details of the Incident
According to local police, information regarding the fire was received around 10:34 PM on the night of October 13 within the jurisdiction of the Welcome Police Station. Upon reaching ‘Udyam Restaurant’ (Shop No. 169) located on Main Jafrabad Road in Maujpur, it was discovered that a fire had suddenly erupted in the restaurant’s kitchen. Restaurant staff managed to completely extinguish the fire at the time. A fire tender also arrived at the scene. Fortunately, there was no loss of life, and no injuries have been reported. The police are investigating the matter further to determine the cause and origin of the fire.
