Barapullah Phase-3 Corridor inaugurated.

Amit Shah inaugurated the Barapullah Phase-3 corridor, making commuting from East Delhi to South Delhi easier, bringing significant relief to the public. Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the long-awaited Barapullah Phase-3 elevated corridor in the capital. He also delivered a significant welcome to the public by opening this corridor. Commuting between East Delhi and South Delhi will be much easier and less time-consuming.
This project, which connects important areas of Delhi, is considered beneficial for thousands of daily commuters. People have long faced traffic problems, and now the public has received significant relief.
Direct Route from Mayur Vihar to Sarai Kale Khan
Amit Shah inaugurated Barapullah Phase-3, and its purpose is to connect Mayur Vihar Phase-1 to Sarai Kale Khan, providing a direct route and easing traffic congestion for the public. This corridor provides approximately 9 kilometers of continuous, signal-free traffic. This will provide travelers from Mayur Vihar and surrounding areas in East Delhi, via Sarai Kale Khan, with an alternative and faster route, without signals and traffic congestion.
Benefits of the Corridor
The government has highlighted the benefits of this corridor, which is designed to provide convenience to commuters. This easy-to-use route is not limited to Delhi alone. It will also provide convenience to travelers traveling from Noida and East Delhi to South Delhi. Previously, journeys required a long journey, but now the travel time is expected to be reduced from approximately 35 to 40 minutes to approximately 15 minutes. This is great news for the public.
Project Completed After a Long Wait
The Barapullah Phase-3 project was approved in 2014, and construction began in 2015. Originally scheduled for completion by 2017, it was inaugurated in 2026 by Amit Shah.
