The government will make organic vermicompost manure from this purchased cow dung, for this the farmers will be given a fair price. For this scheme, Gauthan will be constructed in every panchayat in which there will be a provision for living, food and medical treatment of all stray animals and the government will also make arrangements for making vermicompost manure in each Gauthan. By taking advantage of this scheme, farmers will be able to increase their income and this will also encourage them to raise cows, this will also promote cow protection.

Godhan Nyay Schemes is a scheme of the Chhattisgarh government, in this scheme, the government buys cow dung from the cow rearing farmers so that their income can increase and they can become financially prosperous. This scheme was started on 21 July 2020, which aims to generate new employment opportunities in rural and urban areas and promote cow rearing and cow protection.

In this scheme, the government buys cow dung from cattle rearers at the rate of Rs 2 per kg and this dung is used to make fuel and fertilizer for farming. Applicants living in Chhattisgarh can apply in this scheme.
