When the amount of fat in the liver increases, it is called Fatty Liver. Due to this, the liver gets swollen, which causes many major diseases. This can mainly happen due to obesity, diabetes, excessive consumption of alcohol and eating high-calorie food.
Due to this, the person’s weight starts decreasing rapidly and he feels pain in the stomach and his immunity system also starts weakening and symptoms like loss of appetite and fatigue start appearing and if this problem is not diagnosed on time, then a serious disease like liver cancer can also occur.

Symptoms of fatty liver
Due to accumulation of fat in the liver there are many symptoms which start appearing in which the person starts having loss of appetite, feeling nauseous, swelling in hands and legs, symptoms of jaundice, stomach ache, feeling tired, weight loss or gain without any reason are the symptoms which start appearing, apart from this the immunity system also becomes weak.
It is of two types, the first is alcoholic fatty liver which is caused by excessive alcohol consumption and the second is non-alcoholic fatty liver (NAFL) which occurs without alcohol consumption.

Why does the problem of fatty liver occur?
This problem is being seen more in youth nowadays, there are many reasons for fatty liver, let us know about them – Consumption of junk food, the main reason for fatty liver nowadays is excessive consumption of junk food in youth, if you consume more packed food like chips, namkeen and pizza, burger etc. in your diet and apart from this you eat processed food, then due to this you can have this problem.
Obesity

Alcohol consumption

Prevention of fatty liver

- You should eat green vegetables, beans and sprouts, you should not eat junk food and processed food.
- You should avoid consuming alcohol as it can also cause diseases like cancer.
- You should eat less sweets as sweets can also cause fatty liver.
- You should avoid eating fried and fast food as it can cause fat accumulation in the liver.
- You should eat fatty substances like ghee, more oil etc. in minimal quantity.
- Apart from this you should do regular exercise, by this you can avoid many other diseases along with fatty liver.
