Who will win the Delhi Election? On this question, top leaders of major parties are claiming victory for their own sides. Meanwhile, former Union Minister and BJP leader Anurag Thakur has also spoken about the Delhi elections. He said that everyone is asking the same question – that BJP should win.
The Delhi Assembly elections are approaching, and leaders of major parties are making different claims of victory. In the midst of this, former Union Minister Anurag Thakur has made a statement about the elections. On Wednesday, he claimed that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will win the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections with a two-thirds majority. Anurag Thakur made this statement while launching a sharp attack on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
Anurag Thakur said that the people of Delhi have now understood the reality of Arvind Kejriwal and his party, calling them “excuse-makers and anti-women.” In an interview, Thakur stated, “BJP is at the top of people’s hearts, and everyone is asking the same question – that BJP should win.” He labeled the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) as anti-women, accusing them of assaulting the party’s Rajya Sabha member Swati Maliwal at Kejriwal’s residence and now, not including the current Chief Minister Atishi’s picture on the party’s posters.
Thakur claimed, “BJP is going to win the Delhi Assembly elections with a two-thirds majority because the people of Delhi have understood the reality of Kejriwal and ‘AAP’.” He further stated that BJP will choose a Chief Minister who is honest and has a clean image. When asked about the free schemes announced by AAP, Thakur said, “BJP will form a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate the scams committed by the Aam Aadmi Party.”
In addition, Thakur also promised that BJP will fulfill its election promises, including plans for the welfare of auto-rickshaw and taxi drivers and a promise to give ₹2500 per month to women. He also raised the question of how many promises AAP has fulfilled in the past 11 years. Thakur said, “What happened to these promises? It’s time for Kejriwal to answer the questions.”
“Corruption was at its peak during Congress government”
Thakur also targeted Congress, accusing the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government of corruption from 2004 to 2014, while the country’s economy was ranked 10th in the world. He added, “Under the Modi government, the country’s economy has risen to the 5th position and will soon reach the 3rd position.”
