Current Crude Oil Trends in the Global Market
International crude oil prices are currently below this year’s peak levels, though they are trending above $95 per barrel in the global market. Fuel prices vary significantly across Indian states due to differences in tax and VAT rates. Thanks to lower taxes, petrol and diesel are cheaper in Chandigarh compared to other cities, whereas Hyderabad sees the highest prices.

Premium variants like XP95 and XP100 are priced at ₹109.24 and ₹167.35 per litre, respectively. In Noida, adjacent to Delhi, petrol is trending at ₹102.12 per litre and diesel at ₹95.56 per litre.
In Gurugram, Haryana, the petrol rate is ₹102.97 per litre, while diesel is priced at ₹95.64 per litre. In Faridabad, petrol is trending at ₹103.28 per litre and diesel at ₹95.94 per litre. In Chandigarh, the price of diesel is recorded at ₹89.47 per litre, while petrol is selling at ₹101.51 per litre. In Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand, the petrol price is trending at ₹100.55 per litre, and diesel is at ₹95.93 per litre. In Shimla (Himachal Pradesh), petrol is priced at ₹103.25 per litre and diesel at ₹95.21 per litre. In Visakhapatnam, petrol is recorded at ₹116.39 per litre, while diesel is priced at ₹104.11 per litre.
