  • On the first day, Goddess Shailputri is worshipped. On this day, white colored food should be offered to the Goddess. Sweets made from milk, ghee, sugar etc. should be offered as Prasad.
  • The second day of Chaitra Navratri is the day of Goddess Brahmacharini. On this day, Goddess Brahmacharini is specially worshipped and sugar or jaggery is offered to the Goddess or food made from jaggery is offered to the Goddess.
  • On the third day, Goddess Chandraghanta is worshipped. Milk or dry fruit is offered to the Goddess on this day.
  • The fourth day is the day of Goddess Kushmanda. Malpua is offered to Goddess Kushmanda on this day.
  • The fifth day of Navratri is dedicated to Skandamata. On this day, worshipping Skandamata and offering bananas to the Goddess is considered auspicious. This brings blessings from the Goddess.
  • The sixth day of Navratri is considered the day of Katyayani Devi. Offering honey and sweet betel leaf to the Goddess on this day pleases the Goddess and she grants the desired result.
  • The seventh day of Navratri is considered the day of Kaalratri. It is said that offering jaggery to the Goddess on this day pleases the Goddess.
  • On the eighth day of Navratri, coconut and kheer-puri are offered. The eighth day of Navratri is the day of Maa Gauri. Kanya Bhoj is also organized on this day.
  • On the ninth day of Navratri, Siddhidatri Mata is worshipped and gram and halwa should be offered to the Goddess.
