The biggest news is now emerging regarding the upcoming Legislative Council (MLC) elections in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. With these elections approaching, the Bharatiya Janata Party has released its list of candidates for both states, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. This means the BJP has clearly outlined which candidates will be contesting on its behalf. So far, reports are coming that the BJP has announced 10 names. This list includes six seats in Uttar Pradesh and four in Bihar. With this announcement, political activity regarding the Legislative Council elections has intensified in both states, and the names of the candidates have also been revealed.
Uttar Pradesh
First, let’s talk about Uttar Pradesh. Elections are going to be held for 11 Legislative Council seats, and the BJP has announced its candidates for six of these seats. This means the BJP has fielded six candidates.
Names of Candidates
Find out which candidates the BJP has fielded from which seats. The party has nominated Kedar Nath Singh from the Varanasi Graduate seat. Dinesh Goyal has been nominated from the Meerut Graduate seat. Ashok Kumar Rathore has been nominated from the Allahabad-Jhansi Graduate seat. Furthermore, the BJP has announced its candidates for the teacher constituencies. Dr. Pramod Mishra has been nominated from the Varanasi Teacher seat, Engineer Hari Kishor Tiwari from the Agra Teacher seat, and Dhruv Tripathi from the Gorakhpur-Faizabad Teacher seat. When is voting?

Bihar
Now let’s talk about another state, Bihar. Elections will be held for eight Legislative Council seats in Bihar. These seats include four graduate and four teacher constituencies. The BJP has announced the names of candidates for its four seats and released the list. The BJP has nominated Naval Kishore Yadav for the Patna Teachers constituency. Additionally, Dr. NK Yadav has been nominated for the Kosi Graduates constituency, while Sarvesh Kumar has been nominated for the Darbhanga Graduates constituency and Narendra Prasad Singh for the Tirhut Teachers constituency. The seat-sharing arrangement between the BJP and the JDU in Bihar has already been finalized. The JDU has already announced candidates for its four seats. With this list from the BJP, the picture of the MLC elections within the NDA in Bihar has become much clearer. That means four seats have been given to JDU and four are with BJP.
