New Delhi: A conflict had erupted between Iran and the US, causing the situation in the Middle East to spiral out of control and triggering turmoil in global markets. Now, peace appears to be on the horizon between the two nations; experts believe a peace proposal has essentially been accepted. However, a statement from Israel—a US ally—has raised the possibility of relations freezing over once again.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has issued a significant threat against Iran, warning of a renewed attack. Such a move could usher in a period of instability across the Middle East.

Israel Could Attack Iran Again

Amidst peace talks, Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu has caused a stir with a major statement. He indicated that Israel could launch another attack on Iran if the need arises. His remarks come at a time when US President Donald Trump has already expressed displeasure over Israel’s actions regarding Lebanon.

Netanyahu went further, asserting that Israel is prepared to launch a third major strike if necessary to prevent nuclear catastrophe. According to the Turkish news agency Anadolu, Netanyahu stated that Israel would be compelled to take every possible measure to stop Iran from developing nuclear weapons.

He also declared that if Israel’s security demands are not met, another major operation will be launched.

Third Attack Likely If Needed: Netanyahu

Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu asserted that Israel has taken action to protect itself from Iran’s nuclear ambitions and would do so a third time if required. Israel has repeatedly warned that it is not bound by any agreement that allows Iran to continue its nuclear development program. Donald Trump has already warned Israel

US President Donald Trump has already issued a warning to Netanyahu. Trump has urged Netanyahu to exercise restraint and patience, advising him to avoid any fresh escalation of tensions. The US President said, “I told Netanyahu, ‘Bibi, be careful, or else you will very soon find yourself all alone.'”

Iran also responds

Iran, too, is unwilling to bow down to the US and Israel. On Tuesday, Iran stated that it is prepared for war should negotiations with the US fail. At the same time, Tehran noted that dialogue remains its preferred option, as both nations are currently holding meetings to advance the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

Will tensions rise again?

In an interview with a state-run TV channel, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf made a significant statement. He said, “We are striving for dialogue, but if this effort fails, we are prepared for war.” He added that a stern response would be delivered accordingly.
