National Security Advisor Ajit Doval has given a clear message regarding India’s strategy and military capability regarding Operation Sindoor. In Discovery’s upcoming documentary series, Doval will be seen discussing the events, strategic decisions, and thinking behind the operation.

According to Doval, Operation Sindoor had a clear strategic objective. The operation targeted terrorist infrastructure that India had linked to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam.
Discovery’s two-part documentary, “Declassified: Operation Sindoor,” will reveal key aspects of the operation. It will provide insights into the decisions made during the operation through the experiences of national security and military leadership officials.
The documentary will air Saturday at 9 p.m. on Discovery Channel. It will also be available on discovery+.
The events lasted 88 hours.
Operation Sindoor began on the morning of May 7th. It was launched following the April 22nd terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. The Indian Army carried out targeted strikes against terrorist hideouts reported in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
This prompted a military response from Pakistan. India retaliated with several military actions. The heightened tension between the two countries continued for approximately 88 hours.
Military activities ceased on the evening of May 10th after an agreement was reached between India and Pakistan.
