New Delhi: All political parties have already become active ahead of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. State CM Yogi Adityanath is also continuously targeting opposition political parties. UP CM Yogi Adityanath has launched a scathing attack on the Congress regarding Pakistan. On ‘Partition Horrors Remembrance Day’ (Vibhishika Diwas), Yogi Adityanath made a startling statement concerning PoK and the Sindh province.

He termed this day as one of the darkest chapters in the history of humanity. He stated that an ancient ‘Sanatan’ nation was partitioned for the sake of power. Sindh was a Hindu-majority region that was forcibly handed over to supporters of Pakistan. CM Yogi Adityanath made these significant remarks during an event held in Lucknow.

Yogi says Congress tore the ‘Sanatan’ nation apart

Speaking at an event in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, he said that in 1947, the ‘Sanatan’ nation was torn apart for the sake of power. He remarked that this is not merely about turning back the pages of history; territories that Pakistan’s supporters had not even demanded were forcibly handed over to Pakistan.

Be it territories in Punjab or Bengal, Sindh was Hindu-majority, yet it was forcibly handed over to them. He further added that today serves as an inspiration to learn from those dark chapters of history. He added that back in 1947, they remained silent; even then, their eyes were fixed on power.

Those who sought power at the nation’s expense are engaging in similar actions today. CM Yogi also referred to the atrocities against Hindus in Bangladesh, noting that these parties remained silent even when Hindus were being massacred.

CM lashes out at the opposition while recalling the Partition.

CM Yogi stated that ‘Partition Horrors Remembrance Day’ is linked to the horrific tragedy of the 1947 Partition, which is regarded as one of the darkest chapters in the history of humanity. He further remarked that the ‘Sanatan’ nation was torn apart for the sake of power. He emphasised that this is not simply a matter of revisiting the pages of history. This day also serves to inspire us to learn valuable lessons from those dark chapters of history.

He noted that, at that time, millions of Hindus were forced to leave their own motherland and birthplace. Furthermore, hundreds of thousands of Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs, and Jains were massacred. There was no recourse or hearing at any level. These people spread disorder and anarchy. Why did this country fall into subjugation?
