New Delhi: The INDIA bloc held a massive rally at the Ramlila Ground in the national capital, Delhi, sending a message of unity against the government and the Election Commission. According to the opposition, if those in the government and constitutional institutions betray the public, the people will take to the streets. Throughout Sunday, workers from the INDIA bloc parties in Delhi raised slogans against the government.

A historic crowd gathered at the rally, where there was a collective demand to imprison Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Furthermore, opposition leaders called for holding PM Narendra Modi and Amit Shah accountable. Meanwhile, senior BJP leader Kiren Rijiju has questioned the rally itself, taking a dig at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.

What did Kiren Rijiju say?

BJP leader Kiren Rijiju has raised questions regarding the INDIA bloc’s rally at the Ramlila Ground, taking a jab at Rahul Gandhi. The Congress party shared a photo of the rally on social media, and in response, Rijiju alleged that the Congress used Artificial Intelligence (AI) to inflate the size of the crowd.

On Sunday (November 1), Kiren Rijiju shared the photo on X (formerly Twitter). In his caption, he wrote, “If the Congress party wanted to show a massive crowd at the Ramlila Ground, they should have at least ensured the AI-generated image was crafted properly. The Congress party’s ‘fake narrative’ team couldn’t even get the AI to correctly depict the Ramlila Ground as being packed.”

The rally was organised by the INDIA bloc on Sunday, with a focus on Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Leaders from the Congress and other allied parties first gathered at the residence of Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, before travelling in open-top buses to Minto Bridge and subsequently arriving at the Ramlila Ground.

During the event, Rahul Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav, Priyanka Gandhi, and Mamata Banerjee were seen together in the same bus. Rahul Gandhi was seated at the very front, while Priyanka Gandhi was positioned further back.

BJP launches major attack on Rahul

Regarding the ‘INDIA’ bloc’s mega-rally held at Ramlila Maidan, the BJP has launched a major attack on the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, and Wayanad MP Priyanka Gandhi. BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra stated that Priyanka Gandhi was not allowed to speak at the rally. It is worth noting that leaders from various political parties across the country participated in this rally, which was organised against the Election Commission and the government. SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, former West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, the Shiv Sena (Uddhav faction), and the NCP (Sharad faction) also took part in the rally, sending a message of maintaining and strengthening opposition unity.
